Revol has made culinary porcelain in Saint-Uze, in the Drôme, since 1768, and is still run by the same family. Its porcelain is made to go from oven to table.
We stock Caractère, created by designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance for Revol's 250th anniversary. It is made from a black culinary clay, and the glaze is wiped from each rim by hand to show the raw clay, like a charcoal stroke, so no two edges are the same. Choose from dinner, dessert and bread plates, two oval serving pieces and a small cocotte.
