The piece
Sabre's Bistrot range takes its cue from the riveted cutlery of Parisian neighbourhood bistros: simple lines, visible rivets and handles in colours made to be mixed. Each piece is made in France.
In use
The slender blade moves cleanly through a young Comté AOP, a clothbound cheddar or a wedge of Manchego DOP without dragging or crumbling. The two-pronged tip then picks up the slice, so guests can serve themselves straight from the board. Pair it with the Bistrot Spreader for soft cheeses and the Bistrot Cheese Cleaver for aged, crystalline wedges, and the board is covered.
