Bérard Parmesan Grater with Box
A stainless steel grater that slides into an olive wood box, so the cheese stays off the bench.

The piece
Bérard has made wooden kitchen and table pieces since 1892, from its base north of Provence. This grater pairs a curved stainless steel blade with an olive wood box that catches the cheese as you go.
In use
Grate Parmigiano Reggiano DOP straight into the box, then slide the grater out and spoon it over pasta or risotto at the table. It works on any hard cheese, from Gruyère AOP to aged Gouda.
