Description
The wine
Spring is Oscar Hermann's small-batch light red from the Yarra Valley, an unusual blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir and white Sauvignon Blanc. It is made in a fresh, lighter style, for drinking young and serving cool.
Tasting notes
Red cherry and raspberry from the Pinot Noir and Sangiovese, rounded out by plummy Merlot, with a savoury, herbal edge and an aromatic freshness from the Sauvignon Blanc. Juicy and light on its feet.
How to enjoy
Serve chilled, at about 12°C. Enjoy it with L'Amuse Gouda, Perello Gordal olives or Tarallini Rosemary & Sea Salt.
