The piece
Bérard has made wooden kitchen and table pieces since 1892, from its base north of Provence. This set pairs stainless steel blades with olive wood handles, so each set has its own grain and colour.
In use
Use the hard cheese knife on a Comté AOP or Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, the soft cheese knife on a ripe Brillat-Savarin IGP, and the fork to pass slices around. Set it out with a Bérard olive wood board for a board that matches.
