What it is
Flamigni has made nougat in Romagna for decades, growing out of the pastry shop three brothers opened in Forlì in 1930. This soft nougat cake is baked gently to keep it moist and tender. It is then cut into slices, and each slice is wrapped and set back in the mould, so the cake keeps its shape in the tin.
How to enjoy
Open the tin at the table and pass the slices round with coffee. It is also a good partner for Valserena Parmigiano Reggiano DOP 24 months on a cheese board.
