Description
The wine
Amanti comes from the Prosecco DOC in the Veneto, north-east Italy, and is made mainly from Glera. Franc About Wine chose it for its consistency from one release to the next. It is made in the Extra Dry style, which is a touch softer and rounder than Brut.
Tasting notes
Fresh and light, with a soft bubble and an easy, rounded finish.
How to enjoy
Serve well chilled, at 6–8°C. Pour it on its own or use it for spritzes. Set out Vannella Burrata, shards of Valserena Parmigiano Reggiano DOP 24 months and a bowl of Brets Chips - Chèvre Piment d'Espelette.
