The piece
Bérard has made wooden kitchen and table pieces since 1892, from its base north of Provence. The Nordic Board is cut from oak and comes in four lengths, so it can serve two people or a whole table.
In use
Run a line of cheeses down the middle, from a Comté AOP to a bûche de chèvre, with olives, Marcona almonds and bread between them. The larger sizes make a grazing board for a party.

- Hand wash in warm water and dry straight away; not dishwasher safe
- Rub with Bérard Beeswax for Culinary Woods or a little vegetable oil when the wood looks dry
