The piece
Dutch maker Heinen Delfts Blauw has been making hand-painted Delftware since 1975. Its Majolica range is earthenware under a white tin glaze, painted freehand in Delft blue with loose, expressive brushstrokes, so each piece is slightly different. The studs are formed in the clay before glazing, so they sit smoothly under the paint.
In use
A size for salad, pasta or fruit, or a pile of olives on the table. Pair it with the Noppen Breakfast Plate.
