The Wine Series: Anything but Chardonnay
Chardonnay dominates white wine in Australia. It's the safe order, the familiar bottle, the default pour. Anything but Chardonnay is an invitation to try other interesting whites that rarely get a look in. We're opening bottles from the parts of the white wine world that most people walk past — grapes you may have heard of but never poured. This is a guided tasting designed to surprise you, maybe change what you reach for next time, and almost certainly start a conversation or two.

The shop doors close, the lights come down, and the room becomes yours. Amanda Longworth, wine educator and Paddo local leads us through six wines, talking about where they come from, what makes them different, and why they're worth your glass. Light cheese is served alongside, as a palate companion — a bite between pours, not the main event. Wine is the star tonight.
The format is relaxed and conversational. You'll taste, you'll talk, you'll ask your burning questions!
