Description
A Räuschling from Schwarzenbach Weinbau, a fifth-generation family estate in Meilen, on the shores of Lake Zürich. Räuschling is a rare old grape, found only in German-speaking Switzerland. The Schwarzenbachs kept faith with it when others gave up, and it is now their signature.
From the estate's Classic range: fresh, unfussy wines made for drinking with friends.
Light and dry, with citrus fruit and crisp, lively acidity.
The local match is lake fish, so try it with pan-fried perch or whiting. Also pairs well with fresh goat's cheese, or as an aperitif. Serve at 8–10°C.
750ml · Zürichsee AOC, Switzerland
