The piece
Le Jacquard Français has woven table and kitchen linen in Gérardmer, in the Vosges mountains, since 1888. On a jacquard loom the pattern is built from coloured threads rather than printed on top, so it stays crisp wash after wash. This tea towel is woven from long-staple combed cotton, soft and very absorbent. L'Ail is a tribute to garlic, a staple of French cooking, in warm, rustic colours.
In use
