The piece
Le Jacquard Français has woven table and kitchen linen in Gérardmer, in the Vosges mountains, since 1888. On a jacquard loom the pattern is built from coloured threads rather than printed on top, so it stays crisp wash after wash. Cerises is a classic cherry motif in bright summer red. The mitt is certified PPE Category 2 for protection from hot dishes.
In use
Use it to lift hot dishes and a baked Revol cocotte from the oven. It matches the Cerises apron and tea towel.
