The cheese
Fleur du Maquis means "flower of the scrubland". Fresh sheep's milk cheese is pressed into the wild herbs that cover Corsica's hills: rosemary, savory and sometimes juniper. Ottavi, one of the island's most respected producers, makes theirs from the pasteurised milk of Corsican sheep that graze the same maquis.
Tasting notes
Young, the ivory paste is fresh, lactic and gently tangy. With age it softens towards the rind and the herbs become earthier and more aromatic.
How to enjoy
Serve it whole as a centrepiece, with figs and crusty bread. Pair it with a Provençal rosé. Take it out of the fridge an hour before serving.

How will my order arrive?
Temperature-sensitive orders are packed with insulation and ice packs to help them arrive in great condition. Couriers are instructed to leave parcels in a safe place where possible. If re-delivery is required, a re-delivery fee may apply.
