What it is
Flamigni began as a pastry shop in Forlì, Romagna, in 1930, and has made panettone since the 1980s. This is their classic: a tall, domed 1kg loaf in the Milanese style. Each one is wrapped by hand.
How to enjoy
Warm it briefly to bring out the butter, then cut it into wedges. Serve it for breakfast with coffee, or toast thick slices and top with Vannella Ricotta and a drizzle of Miellerie Leatherwood Honey. With dessert, pour Dominique Portet Brut Rosé.
