Description
The spirit
Archie Rose makes this vodka in Sydney from Australian wheat and twice carbon-filtered Sydney water. It is lifted with native lemon scented gum and sunrise lime, with Australian peach and Roman chamomile. It is distilled in copper vacuum stills at low temperature. Bottled at 40%.
Tasting notes
Candied lime peel, peach iced tea and elderflower on the nose, with jasmine and cut grass. The palate shows sweet lemon, ripe peach and mint. The finish is long, with sherbet, candied orange peel and stone fruit.
How to enjoy
Sip it chilled, mix it with soda and lime, or make a dirty Martini garnished with Maestros Anchovy Stuffed Olives. A plate of Maestros Banderilla goes well alongside.
