The piece
Abbeyhorn has worked horn in England since 1749, and still cuts, shapes and polishes each piece by hand. This chutney spoon is ox horn, which won't absorb liquids and isn't affected by oil or vinegar.
In use
The long handle reaches the bottom of a tall jar, and the pointed bowl scrapes out the last spoonful. Serve On The Side Peach and Muscatel Chutney or Women's Work Caramelised Onion Relish beside a cheddar.

- Hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap and dry straight away
- Not dishwasher safe; don't leave it standing in the jar
- Buff now and then with a drop of vegetable oil
