La Narval Sardines in Tomato Sauce
La Narval · Galicia, Spain
Galician sardines cooked, gently dried, then packed in tomato sauce that they soak up.
Free shipping on orders over $300
What it is
La Narval cooks these sardines in seawater, then dries them slightly before they go into the tin. When they meet the tomato sauce they rehydrate and draw it in, so the fish and sauce taste of each other. The result is soft, savoury and a little sweet.
How to enjoy
Warm gently and spoon over toast, or toss through hot La Rustichella Bucatini with a splash of Mount Zero Frantoio olive oil and chilli.
