Description
The 2025 vintage saw incredible ripening conditions across the Peninsula, sufficient heat and minimal rainfall has resulted in a bright and fruit forward pinot noir with plenty of flesh.
The 2025 10X has fruit sourced from Coolart Road (67%), Hunts Road (25%) and
Capella (7%) with a variety of clones selected for the blend. MV6, Pommard, G5V15, 115, 777, Abel, D2V5, D5V12. The resulting wine has incredible complexity and generosity on the palate.
Fruit as always was hand picked, fortunately the 2025 vintage provided ample fruit and quality was incredibly high allowing the winery team to process only the finest bunches. A period of cold maceration for 4 days at 8 degrees before fermentation occurs naturally across stainless steel, Oak and concrete fermentation vessels. The 2025 10X spent approximately 15 days on the skins with gentle pump overs to aid extraction. The wine then rested in French oak barrique and Puncheons (10% new) for 5 months before racking.
