At 26cm, the Caractère dinner plate is the piece around which the rest of the collection is built, and it is where designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance's concept reads most fully. Inspired by the weight and immediacy of a charcoal stroke, the plate's hand-deglazed rim exposes raw black clay in an irregular band that gives each piece a drawn quality, as though the boundary between glaze and clay were a deliberate mark rather than a manufacturing edge. The black clay from which each plate is made is both robust and refined — resistant to mechanical shocks and suitable for everyday use, yet polished enough to anchor a considered table setting. White Cumulus handles the high contrast well at this scale: the bright white interior and the dark irregular rim establish a clear, confident presence. Cardamom brings warmth to the same format, its earthy ground absorbing the black rim into a quieter, more organic palette that suits relaxed evening dining as naturally as formal entertaining.
