Marking the beginning of vintage each year, the first fruit to be harvested makes the base for this joyous Pét Nat.

The 2021 Pretty Fun is textural with a good acid line thanks to the early harvest. It has a bright pink hue and the bead is fine.

The un-disgorged wine is crisp with a leesy minerality and dangerously easy to drink at 11.5%.

Perfect for the backyard or a day in the park where the sun is shining!

Description

Commune of Buttons began with a single dream between brother and sister, to continue as second-generation growers of grapes, the custodians of a piece of land called ‘Fernglen’ 70 acres of bush paddocks and vineyards in the Adelaide hills at Basket Range.

Adelaide Hills Syrah and Chardonnay were whole bunch pressed, fermented in barriques and puncheons and racked off lees before being blended into tanks. Bottled with 10g residual sugar then laid to ferment to dryness.
