Paul Blanck - Pinot Gris 2019
Alsace, FRA

This is classic Alsatian Gris.  Approachable, aromatic and characterful.  A solid ’19 vintage has given us a wine with a rich and  unctuous mouthfeel.

The fruit flavours go into ripe/poached pear, ripe yellow-flesh stone fruits and even mandarin, and a bit of spice (ginger-like).  All tank and no oak, but packs a full and fruity punch.
