Pierre Gerbais Champagne Cuvée de Réserve
Champagne, France
Situated in the Côte des Bar this organic Cuvée de Réserve is based on equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a touch of Pinot Gris. The use of indigenous yeast and extended ageing on lees (30 months) this is a wine of refinement, texture and complexity.
Aromas of ripe pears and buttered bread give way to a fine beaded palate of green apple, brioche and citrus. Very classy wine indeed.
