Gumeracha, Adelaide Hills, SA

Steve Pannell believes that the Adelaide Hills terroir may be perfect for this Piedmont grape. He has a passion for this varietal and it shows. Captivatingly  aromatic, it activates all the senses.   Think dried orange peel, rose petals and linseed followed by a palate of raspberry and blueberry with a lick of licorice and amaro bitters to finish. Nebbiolo tannins are layered and present but bold and persistent.  Soft mellow and gorgeously complex.
