Groiss Grüner Veltiner 2020
Weinviertel, AUSTRIA
This is a beautifully balanced Grüner from Ingrid Groiss. This skilled winemaker took over the reins of her family’s winery in 2010 and has taken the label to new levels of quality.
Hand harvested organic grown grapes spend a little time on skins before being aged on full lees in stainless steel tanks.
Aromas of spice and citrus with the palate delivering with full-on white pepper spiciness, slender freshness and lovely, pithy, salty, yeasty texture. This is a little pepper bomb full of life and verve. The finish is dry and fulfilling.
