The Shiraz (75%) comes from the Marengo Vineyard near Richmond, planted in 2017. The Pinot Noir (25%) is from a 2004 vineyard on the other side of Richmond. The parcels are wild-fermented separately, the Pinot with 50% whole bunches, then aged for 10 months in French oak puncheons.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eTasting notes\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn Samantha's words: black cherries and blackberries, rosemary stem, pepper berry and Dutch liquorice.
