Description

Monique and Steve Lubiana moved from the hot inland of a brown Australia to the beautiful banks of the Derwent River in 1990 to pursue Steve’s dream of making high quality sparkling wine.

The sloping site allowed them to build a gravity-fed winery and his whole winemaking approach since that time has been based on attention to detail within a biodynamic environment. The first sparkling wines were made in 1993 from the initial plantings of chardonnay and pinot noir.
