The Commune of Buttons Estate Pinot Noir 2020 is made by brother and sister duo, Jasper & Sophie Button in the Adelaide Hills. The wines are made naturally (organic and biodynamic) with only minimal sulphur additions and slow, gentle ferments.

Yields for the Pinot Noir were extremely low this vintage and only 1800 were made.

This is made from a combination of all the Estate vineyards, plus grapes from friends’ vineyards nearby.

20% whole bunch fermented in 2000L open-top Australian Jarrah. Pressed off and aged on fine lees for one year in aged French oak.

It’s light and fresh with notes of cherry and earthy forest floor, and that savoury finish the wine is known for.
