The Beyond the Horizon Shiraz comes from the Adelaide Hills.

"Complex and compelling for many reasons not the least the fact this spends a decent time ageing in French oak barrels, 18 months of which 75% are new.

It deals with all that admirably while retaining fruit vivacity. Laden with dark cherries, a touch of kirsch, gum leaf and Middle Eastern spices. The walnutty oak plumps out the palate adding to the textural tannins."
